This must be the week for wrapping up senior siblings! I photographed E’s brother just a couple years ago and now the last one is gearing up for his final year of high school. One of the most challenging, yet rewarding approaches in sessions like this is creating a new series of images that not only coordinate with what I photographed in the past, but also stand out as being distinctly different. By taking this approach, I feel like I get to dig even deeper into the personalities of the younger siblings as I try to uncover differential layers. At the same time, I see such strong similarities from previous sessions, that it’s like taking a stroll down memory lane.
