Today’s wild winds finally calmed just as Baby A also settled down for a brief nap. We walked out through the side pasture, near the creek, swaddling her loosely as the sun set behind us. A soft bed of moss lined a salvaged segment of tree that was perfectly contoured for a newborn baby. These few moments celebrating a fresh new season and life were simply dreamy.
