There may be gloomy skies out today, but there’s still a freshness in the air. This morning the birds were singing a spring song and a few lilies of the valley were blooming outside this family’s home. Inside, a precocious little girl greeted me, chatting up a storm about her new baby brother, H. I’ve honestly never seen a toddler so loving (and gentle!) with a new baby. She held him in her lap for a bit and sang him sweet songs, just like the birds outside her window. Little H. is going to be in very good hands!
