I’m a little ashamed to admit it, but I just haven’t been able to get into the Christmas spirit this year (I know it’s still early in the season!). I missed the official showing of Rudolph on TV (DVD isn’t quite the same), have yet to do any gift shopping, the weather has been so warm for December (no complaints!) and, since our place is on the market, we have no Christmas tree or decorations up at home. I’m feelin’ a little bit like an old Scrooge!
That’s why I smiled when I came across this photo of my nieces taken last week at the studio. They were all dolled up in their Christmas dresses and looking out the window with such wonder. Can you still remember that time when everything was so magical? Oh, to be there again!
