Oh my…I missed some crucial information from my earlier post about the upcoming Date 2 Remember event! If ordering tickets online, be sure to use coupon code “parrish” when checking out! Not only does the auction portion of the event raise money for charity, but ticket sales are a large part of this, too. Ryan and I are supposed to be tracking how much fundraising we can do to meet our goals and that coupon code will help us do so (we’d love to sell 50 tickets to the event).
We now have tickets on hand if you’d like to order directly through us. They’re $25 to get you into the event– order through Ryan & I and we’ll match your purchase by gifting you a $25 Amy Parrish Photography gift certificate. Even if you don’t end up being the lucky bidder who wins our $2300 date package, you’ll still have something to use towards a future session. Even if you can’t make it out to the event, you can still order tickets and walk away with our gift certificates!
In case you missed our previous rundown of what this event is about, here’s the short & sweet of it. Ryan and I, along with other 24 other Columbus-area participants, will be working the runway for a fashion show and then placed up for auction. You’ll be bidding to have a “date” with us…our date including an Allegro portrait session, DVD slideshow with both video & still images, plus a CD with all of your gallery proofs sized for printing our desktop-sized portraits. This is a $2300 value if you hired us for the same session so, unless the bidding gets truly out of hand, one lucky bidder will be walking away with a steal of a deal.
That’s not even the best part! Proceeds from A Date 2 Remember will be given to two local charities: A Kid Again and Flying Horse Farms. We are sincerely asking for all of your support to help us raise as much as we can for these worthy charities. Please pass this information along to anyone you can. Flying Horse Farms is a camp for children with serious illnesses providing magical, transforming and fun camp experiences. When kids come to Flying Horse Farms, they are no longer a kid with cancer. They are not constrained by their asthma or sickle cell disease. The toll on the body from heart disease, arthritis or hemophilia is forgotten. When kids are here, they’re different. They aren’t patients. They are kids.
