Tonight was it; the very first autumn session of the year with enough leaves on the ground to toss up in the air. Mr. P handled the honor superbly! He put his entire self into every moment of the shoot. And little sis, S, hung in there ’til the end, even though I was certain she would wear out much sooner seeing as she would run up the trail, down the trail, up the trail, down the trail, and up the trail again! Though she truly did stop to smell the flowers along the way. I bet that’s how she kept herself so centered.
And as a bit of housecleaning, Ry thought I should post a note to let you know that he and I will be working in a whirlwind through the end of the season. We’ve been getting lots of inquiries for those prime, fall sessions that take place over the next few weeks. As of this morning, we had one spot left for next month and are starting to book into November. After Thanksgiving, we’ll continue to schedule sessions, but no guarantee if you have to meet a holiday deadline. Likewise, the week between Christmas and New Years is highly sought after as well. Needless to say, if you haven’t scheduled your 2010 portraits yet, the clock is ticking!
