What a perfect anniversary gift! Daddy’s been deployed and staying in Afghanistan since last October. His wife wanted to do something really special for him and planned this portrait session with herself and baby S. As chance would have it, “Daddy” actually called to check in on his family during the portrait session. While this mama (who should be nominated for “Mom of the Year” with all she balances on her own), was chatting with her husband and holding onto Miss S., I slipped in, incognito, to capture the best family portraits I could; all three conversing (or babbling) together over the phone. Family time comes in so many forms.
