But I saw it there and thought, “Wow…that’s the perfect description for what I want to write about!” Today I’m feeling centered. My morning started with a blog post from the incredible Michelle Black....  I’ll be hosting our last 2012 event for photographers (professionals & hobbyists alike) on Sunday, September 16th at 6pm. Compared to the last creative shootout held here at Atelier, we’ll have longer shooting time (probably about 2 hours) and guests will be welcome to come by earlier for light food and snacks as I style...  This must be the week for wrapping up senior siblings! I photographed E’s brother just a couple years ago and now the last one is gearing up for his final year of high school. I’ve photographed M’s siblings at this same location over the past several years and now she’s the very last one preparing to leave the nest after graduation. It’s a bit surreal to watch a family grow and change during such important life-events, and...  These brothers traveled all the way from Switzerland with their parents to spend the summer here in the states. When I first met them, I was enamored by such charming accents. They chatted up a storm, asking about bull horns, horse beds and “mole-hogs”. In no time, it was each of their personalities that captured...  Breathe. It’s been a hot, dry summer here in Ohio. My heart is singing today as I’m finally able to open up the house and let the sounds and smells of nature inside. Between all of this rain we’ve been getting and temperatures finally down in the 70′s, it feels a little like autumn here...  This young photographer helped me out last night by patiently modeling while I familiarized myself with some new gear.
