After working a full day at the studio yesterday and coming right back in first thing this morning to stay, again, through evening, I’m feeling a little pre-homesick today (if you’re not sure why, read this post). I walked down the block for a scone and coffee at Northstar (oh how I’ll miss my Northstar!),...  It’s so strange to think that it was almost three years ago that I photographed N’s sister for her high school senior portraits. Ryan and I had just gotten the studio and hers was one of the first sessions to be held there. Now, this time around, N. was also photographed in and around our...  We squeezed every ounce of daylight we could out of this family/post-senior portrait session. The start of our evening was sunny and hot, but by 8:30 the sky was already darkened; a reminder that autumn is less than a month away. With the change of season, these two parents will officially be empty-nesters. L. leaves...
