Monthly Archives: November 2010 Today was our very last Haiku session for the holiday season! Of course, we’ll still be photographing through the rest of the year and on into 2011, but the crazy rush for the gift-giving season should start winding down pretty soon. Speaking of gift-giving, these lovable siblings were in to the studio for a surprise... …just wanted to let you know that you might just want to keep an eye out here on the blog this Friday. Share on Facebook  As everyone was packing up to leave from this morning’s session I mentioned, “I wish we could just freeze her here.” I was actually caught a bit off guard when A’s dad said, “You just did“. While I’m sure next year will be at the doorstep before we know it (just as the past few...  Tonight’s blog share is twice as large as usual! I’ve photographed a fairly high percentage of twins over the past few years, but this is my very first pair of senior twins. They both had great attitudes and such amazing eyes (love that first image of M. & when I zoomed in on an image...  I’m having a love affair with our canvas wall portraits. This image recently arrived at the studio and I couldn’t help but hang it up for a few minutes to take it’s picture (aren’t those dogs the cutest!?). This is one of our Haiku-sized canvas wall portraits with an image-wrapping option. I truly love this...  I photographed this gorgeous family just a week from today’s date, last year. So much has changed in such a short period of time. I actually saw an adorable little boy running around the Short North Northstar Cafe a couple months back and was oohing and ahhing to Ryan about how adorable he was. Then...  This was a bittersweet shoot. I’ve been photographing B’s siblings over a period of four years, and he’s the last one getting ready to leave the nest. It was nice to photograph around his home where I had worked before with a brother & sister, but at the same time, a little sad knowing that... It’s hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since Jenkins’ puppy party at the studio. On December 19th he turns four years old and we’re ready to celebrate! We’re opening up our doors at the studio for a puppy playdate just like we did last year between 1-3pm. If you and your pooch...  I am beyond grateful for these mild temperatures this week. Who would have thought in mid-November I could be outside photographing in short-sleeves while two sisters danced around barefoot!? I’m pretty sure this may have been the very last session this year with such fantastic freedom. Goodbye warm temps…I’ll miss you! Share on Facebook |
