Monthly Archives: March 2010 (Images from This is Me, Giving You Flowers) Our studio won’t be open for the April Gallery Hop, but we will be here from 1-3pm on Sunday, April 11th to feature a collection of self-portraits created by 30 students from Liberty Tree Elementary School. What makes this collection of images extra special, is the teacher...  While these four siblings are all extremely cute and super silly, when you stack them up next to each other it’s easy to see how they each differ. Brother B, is filled with funny antics (you should have seen him buzzing around the studio as a bumblebee). Big sister, A, has quite a serious streak...  There’s something about photographing couples in love that sends my heart all-a-flutter. While taking C & J’s engagement portraits today I saw some of the most sweet and sincere body language you can imagine. I left the couple to their own devices for a few moments and, during that time, J. was so naturally graceful...  Just posting a preview from tonight’s session, set up especially for a high school student intern who is spending the week with Amy Parrish Photography. This soulful girl was absolute perfection to work with (Thanks, Laura, for letting us borrow your fabulous model!). I won’t get a look of Masha’s images until tomorrow, but am...  I could hardly believe it when I saw these four guys crossing the street to visit our studio (Mom arrived just a little bit later). They were all dressed in various shades of blue and, not even an hour earlier, I had just hung a brand new background that we received today, with the same...  What a wonderful start to our Bohemian sessions! At the end of Saturday, the only downside was that I wished I could have photographed even longer. There are too many pictures from the day for a full preview, but I really must share an image of Papi, the French Bulldog puppy. He was beyond adorable!...  This is one of the most snugly babies I’ve ever met. D. came with an entire stack of cozy knit caps and is just the right size to scrunch all up like a little sack of flour. Whether it was Grandma, Mom or Dad (even myself at one point), no one could resist his charms!... If you’ve got a cute kiddo between 4-9 years old who is available Wednesday evening at 6pm or Thursday morning, please get in touch. We have a high school student shadowing us next week and we’d love to get her a couple of chances to photograph. I’ll be behind the camera some, too, as Ryan...  What a blast with the R. family today! I think just about everyone caught a case of the sillies at some point (including myself!). I loved every minute of it, because their spirits shined so strongly in these images. Even during more serious moments, I felt like I could see down to their very souls....
